Today
Chasing requests, rates, and vendor promises in separate places
With FiberBooks
One queue, rates pre-filled, promise dates tracked
One Queue
Everything that needs buying, in one place.
Material and labor requests from project managers and the warehouse arrive on one queue with a suggested vendor per line. Group them into draft orders by vendor, one purchase order per vendor, and review before anything is issued.
Rates Pre-Filled
A rate that is already there.
Each draft line pre-fills from the vendor's list price, then the last price paid to that vendor, then the plan's unit cost. You overwrite it where you have negotiated better.
Company-Wide Buying
Buy in bulk for the whole company.
For material, put a project's request on another company's draft order and buy from one place. On receipt, the material moves to the project's company automatically.
Promise Dates
Know what is confirmed and what is slipping.
Enter the vendor's promise date and move it when it changes. An unconfirmed line reminds you, and a short receipt leaves the balance as its own row until the vendor promises it.
Settlements
Settle mismatches, not argue about them.
Every short, over, damaged, returned, over-confirmed labor, or disputed charge becomes its own settlement, tied to the PO line, with the explanation from whoever was there. It closes itself when the credit, replacement, or bill posts, and reads overdue when that document is late.
Made-in Certifications
Parts carry where they are made.
Parts carry their certifications, including BABA, NDAA Section 889, and TAA. A change to a certification re-checks the parts that depend on it.
